Ceiling Fans · Rancho Palos Verdes, California
Ceiling fan installation in Rancho Palos Verdes runs into the same two problems every time: the box in the ceiling is not fan-rated, and there is only one switch leg for two things. We fix both — proper fan-rated bracing and the wiring to control the light and fan separately — anywhere in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Scope of work
Whether you searched for ceiling fan installation Rancho Palos Verdes, ceiling fan replacement Rancho Palos Verdes or simply electrician near me, this is the crew that turns up. We work across Rancho Palos Verdes and the neighbouring California towns, and we give you the price for the described work before anything starts.
How it goes
Tell us what is happening and where. Emergencies get triaged on the phone — sometimes the first thing we do is tell you which breaker to shut off before we arrive.
We open the panel, test the affected circuits and tell you what is actually wrong, including the parts you would rather not hear.
One number for the work described, before it starts. Options where there are options — the repair now versus the replacement that stops it recurring.
We do the job, label the circuits, clean the space and walk you through what changed and what to watch for.
Reviews
Breaker tripped every few days for a year. Two other electricians replaced the breaker. Ascot found a back-stabbed outlet behind a bookcase in about forty minutes. Fixed and done.
They did our tenant improvement over three nights so we never closed. Panel, subpanel, twenty new circuits and all the display lighting. Invoiced exactly what was quoted.
Recessed lighting in a vaulted living room, which everyone else told me would need a soffit. They laid it out, showed me the spacing on paper first, and it looks like it came with the house.
Questions
Only if it is fan-rated. A standard fixture box is not built for the dynamic load of a spinning fan and will eventually loosen. We install a fan-rated box and brace as part of every install.
Yes. If there is only one switch leg we either pull an extra conductor or fit a compatible remote or smart control that separates the two.
A replacement onto an existing fan-rated box is under an hour. A new fan where no fixture exists takes longer because of the box, bracing and switch wiring.
Damp-rated for covered patios, wet-rated for exposed areas. An indoor fan on a patio will corrode and become a hazard.

Yes. EV charger installation in Rancho Palos Verdes includes a load calculation on your existing service, the dedicated circuit, and the Level 2 charger, Tesla Wall Connector or NEMA 14-50 outlet. If the panel cannot carry it, we will tell you what the upgrade costs before you commit.
