Residential · Mount Aukum, California
A residential electrician in Mount Aukum does more remodel work than emergency work. Kitchens that need six new circuits, ADUs that need their own sub-panel, garages being turned into offices, hot tubs going in on a Saturday. Home electrical installation across Mount Aukum, California.
Scope of work
Whether you searched for residential electrician Mount Aukum, home electrical installation Mount Aukum or simply electrician near me, this is the crew that turns up. We work across Mount Aukum and the neighbouring California towns, and we give you the price for the described work before anything starts.
How it goes
Tell us what is happening and where. Emergencies get triaged on the phone — sometimes the first thing we do is tell you which breaker to shut off before we arrive.
We open the panel, test the affected circuits and tell you what is actually wrong, including the parts you would rather not hear.
One number for the work described, before it starts. Options where there are options — the repair now versus the replacement that stops it recurring.
We do the job, label the circuits, clean the space and walk you through what changed and what to watch for.
Reviews
Called at 11pm with half the house dead and a smell coming off the panel. Someone answered, and a van was outside by half midnight. Found a burnt neutral, isolated it that night and came back Tuesday to do it properly.
Two EVs, one 100 amp panel, and three other companies who said it could not be done. Ascot did the load calc, upgraded the service and put in load-sharing chargers. Both cars charge overnight now.
Our 1948 place still had knob and tube in the attic. They rewired it in stages so we never lost power to the bedrooms, and patched better than the last contractor we hired.
Questions
Yes — kitchens, bathrooms, additions, ADUs, garage conversions and basements, from rough-in through trim, coordinated with your other trades.
More than most people expect: two small-appliance circuits, plus dedicated circuits for the dishwasher, disposal, microwave and refrigerator, and often the range and hood as well.
Yes. Hot tub and spa installation includes the disconnect, the GFCI protection and the correctly sized feeder — this is not a job for an extension cord or a shared circuit.
For most Mount Aukum homes with EVs, heat pumps, smart devices and expensive electronics, yes. A panel-mounted surge protective device costs far less than one replaced HVAC control board.
Routine repairs in Mount Aukum are usually same-day or next-morning. Emergency calls are dispatched immediately and we give you an honest arrival window on the phone rather than a vague four-hour block.
Small jobs such as outlet or switch installation are typically a flat price. Larger work like a panel upgrade or a rewire is quoted after we look at the existing service. Either way you get the number in writing before the work starts, and it does not move unless the scope does.
