Smart Home · El Dorado Hills, California
Smart home wiring in El Dorado Hills usually fails on one detail: the switch box has no neutral. We run the neutral, install the smart switches and dimmers, power the doorbell and cameras properly and leave you with a system that still works when the Wi-Fi hiccups. Scope of work
Whether you searched for smart home electrician El Dorado Hills, smart home wiring El Dorado Hills or simply electrician near me, this is the crew that turns up. We work across El Dorado Hills and the neighbouring California towns, and we give you the price for the described work before anything starts.
How it goes
Tell us what is happening and where. Emergencies get triaged on the phone — sometimes the first thing we do is tell you which breaker to shut off before we arrive.
We open the panel, test the affected circuits and tell you what is actually wrong, including the parts you would rather not hear.
One number for the work described, before it starts. Options where there are options — the repair now versus the replacement that stops it recurring.
We do the job, label the circuits, clean the space and walk you through what changed and what to watch for.
Reviews
Smart switches in a 1970s house with no neutrals anywhere. They ran neutrals to nine boxes and everything works from the app and from the wall.
Straightforward quote, no upsell, showed up when they said. Added four outlets and a dedicated circuit for the freezer in half a day.
Storm took out our weatherhead. Ascot got the temporary sorted the same afternoon and the permanent repair inspected within the week.
Questions
Either we run a neutral to the box, or we fit a smart switch designed for no-neutral installs. Running the neutral is more reliable long term, and in most El Dorado Hills homes it is easier than people assume.

Yes — Cat6 data drops, structured wiring panels and clean network closets, run alongside the electrical rather than tangled through it.
It should. We specify and wire systems so the wall switch always works locally, with the app as a layer on top rather than the only way to turn a light on.
